Did you know that no family pays the full cost of educating a child at Westlake Christian Academy? In addition, more than half of Westlake families receive need-based tuition assistance and benefit from the generosity of friends like you.
You can make a difference in a student’s life by donating to Westlake’s Tuition Assistance Fund. Your donation makes it possible for students to receive a high quality Christian education at an affordable price.
As a ministry, Westlake Christian Academy walks by faith, depending on God to use his people to cover the gap between what it actually costs to provide an education and what some of our families can pay. Thank you for helping us to meet the needs of these families!

What's Happening at Westlake
We are thankful for God's provision and for the families and churches that we partner with. This year, we have welcomed a new principal (although he's not new to Westlake!), and our entire faculty is embarking upon a journey called “Teaching for Transformation”.
A New Principal
In June of 2024, the Board of Trustees hired Dr. Kurt Flemming as the new principal of Westlake Christian Academy.
Dr. Flemming is well-known to many members of our school community as a person whose life is devoted to teaching and discipling students. He has taught at Westlake for 25 years, and he has served as the school's Discipleship Director since 2008. This spring, he completed an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University.
During the administrator search process, Kurt shared that he sensed God calling him to continue to disciple students primarily by leading and discipling teachers through school administration.
God has graciously provided our school with a humble leader who loves Jesus and loves students. We are grateful for this provision!
Teaching for Transformation
At Westlake, we want our students to grow into men and women who love what God loves and see the world the way He does. We want to be a community of believers who represent Jesus and His mission in every facet of life.
Teaching for Transformation is a consistent and unified framework that helps our school accomplish these goals. Discipleship characteristics and habits of learning are introduced at an early age and are built upon throughout a student’s entire educational journey at Westlake.
Service Learning has always been a foundational part of the Westlake experience. These service learning activities are what TfT calls a FLEx (Formational Learning Experience). A Formational Learning Experience is an activity that provides real work that meets a real need for real people.
These Formational Learning Experiences are happening throughout our school. From Kindergarten to 12th grade, our students are responding to God’s call to be active, restorative, and creative in God’s story of redeeming love in very real and practical ways.
